I am about to install a TCI MII front end for my 2 dr 64 Hardtop. I want to know which is better or rather what will work better a Ford MC and booster like from a newer mustang or aCorvette Master cylinder and brake booster and btw which year of either set up?? thanks in advance

if the shock towers are gone and room isnt an issue the mustang will work fine if room is and issue as in mine is used the geo metro witht he 7 inch i think booster work great 20.00 at the salvage yardf...

yup towers are gone and I will have 11" discs all around

I'd do the Corvette setup, it's sold by nearly every street rod parts vendor, specific to 4 wheel disc, all new parts, and priced reasonably.

I was told the line fittings are hard to find local for the Corvette MC.

I found a MC/Booster from an 80's Mustang II that had discs all around and I think I found a local place to rebuild it for me so now the plumbing can begin, just got to drill some firewall holes and lets see

That booster and M/C is off an SVO Mustang. Great find.

Looks exactly like '93 Cobra, an even better find. The SVOs I've seen all use a large cast aluminum master cyl with integral reservoir. Same as Fox Lincoln Continental except they were cast iron. I used one of them on a '57 Ford project.

Mike is correct, I've just seen too many M/C's and boosters and got confused.

cool now I can put a COBRA sticker and snake on my falcon lol
