sorry to hear about your aggravation but I must say it reassures me that my decision was the right one...I should be going to the yard in the next couple of days as I am afraid of the car getting picked clean or worse crushed

Hey grocery I think two alligator clips wired to an extension cord and attached to that dam electric fense shoul give you enough power lol I can attest that 7000 volts will knock you on your Butt. =))

Mite be easier to by the whole car and take it home like I did when I got this 63 convertible for $400.

Got a lot of good parts from that car. In fact it could have been fixed and put back on the road. It was wrecked in 72 so it wasn't 10 years old yet. The top was down and it protected the trunk floorpan so good that it looked almost new when I raised the top, which was done by connecting a battery and hitting the switch. The whole left quarter with the trunk floor and wheel housing plus the left door went to Kansas City and I kept the right quarter, door, trunk, the complete dash, bucket seats, console, top frame, top actuators, and pump motor.
